"Your stuff is everywhere. It?s all over the city. You can?t walk down a street and not see a poster or a banner or something. I hadn?t really considered that because I got the job done and I?m pleased, the client loves it and it?s getting a good reaction. Then you look out in the environment and you?ve had a great effect. Suddenly, for that instant, you own the city. You might walk down William Street, or around Town Hall or the Opera House, or you?ll see bus shelters and all your banners are up. Well, that?s quite exciting and invigorating because you?re out there and people are picking it up and they?re noticing it. "
Ray Parslow is a graphic designer. He is the Design Director for a company called Emery Frost (formerly Emery Vincent). Part of his job is to manage creative jobs and oversee the design studio. Emery Frost employs a core group of graphic designers as well as designers specialising in 3-dimensional design, web design, video design and 2-dimensional or print design. The design team also includes an architect, industrial designer, researcher, strategists, account managers and various administrative staff.
